I have the honor of telling you that the early winter and spring of 2020 have resulted in some great news. As of january, I’m now the head conductor of Kristianstad Stadsmusikkår, a big wind orchestra in the northern parts of Skåne! Contracts are signed and rehearsals started right before Covid-19 hit Sweden. Right now, after a hiatus for three months, the orchestra has restarted its rehearsals in a manner where we can eliminate the risk of infection and with safety in mind. We expect to be fully restored in august.
As of today, I’m no longer associated with Staffanstorp Musikskola, as I’ve ended my contract there. We remain on good terms and I’m personally very grateful for my time teaching there. The decision to leave was mine and solely mine. New adventures await and it is time to direct my energy in this new direction.
In other news: I’ve joined a new, exciting, project that is rehearsing new repertoare – Kanaka! We are working to be able to tour as soon as they let us.. We are also preparing to record and produce a new “cd” for Stina Sahlén, with a planned release in 2021.
More updates, soon!
